The superiority of iGPS's all-plastic pallet pool is appealing for transporting fresh fruit and vegetables, meat, poultry and fish. The risk of infestation and cross-contamination is drastically reduced because iGPS's plastic pallets are hygienic and impervious to adulteration. The pallets' superior top-deck coverage also lowers the risk of product damage.
In addition, each iGPS pallet is embedded with an RFID tag, making for unique asset management and easy tracking of individual loads. RFID tags have the capability to "read-write," do not require line of sight to be read and work in tough environmental conditions.
