ORLANDO, FL – iGPS Logistics, the nation’s leading provider of innovative supply chain solutions featuring its lightweight, 100% recyclable shipping pallets, has announced that its entire Executive Leadership Team has been recognized by Supply and Demand Chain Executive (SDCE) as a recipient of its 2021 “Pros to Know” award for teams.

SDCE gives the “Pros to Know” award annually to both individuals and teams to “recognize outstanding executives whose accomplishments offer a roadmap for other leaders looking to leverage supply chain for competitive advantage.”
The Executive Leadership Team (ELT) at iGPS consists of Jeff Pepperworth, President and CEO; Rob Ferrentino, Chief Financial Officer; Harrison Dean, EVP of Sales; Jonathan Parks, Senior VP of Supply Chain; Shawn Squires, VP of Production; Milton Feliciano, VP of Information Technology; and Cynthia Martinez-Patin, Director of Human Resources.
In awarding this recognition, SDCE recognized iGPS not only for its continued business growth and exceptional customer service, but also for the ELT’s efforts to keep employees safe, motivated, and engaged throughout the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
“Throughout the pandemic, we kept our facilities online, continued to serve our customers, and supported our iGPS colleagues each step of the way,” says Pepperworth, who explained that non-essential employees were quickly transitioned to remote workspaces, and Personal Protective Equipment and enhanced safety protocols were rolled out at its logistics facilities. “We have held weekly engagement calls and quarterly video town halls with our teammates, and our culture committee has kept up a steady flow of events and activities.”
These activities have included various volunteering and sustainability programs to give back to the communities in which iGPS operates. Throughout October, iGPS team members participated in a donation-matching effort that resulted in the donation of 27,400 meals through the national Feeding America program. And this year, the company will formalize a partnership with the National Forest Foundation, which will involve the planting of 100,000 trees in protected forests over the next three years.
“I am grateful to the judges at SDCE for this honor,” adds Pepperworth. “Not because I feel I am personally deserving of any accolades, but because I believe my dedicated teammates should be recognized for their leadership in building a strong team mentality throughout the company. We look forward to continued momentum in 2021.”
About iGPS Logistics:
iGPS Logistics is North America’s only pooler of 48” x 40” CBA-spec plastic shipping pallets. iGPS pallets generate measurable savings in transport expense, reduced product damage, and other operational efficiencies. iGPS’ platform is a major advance in supply chain hygiene — a platform that can easily be cleaned. It will not absorb fluids that can lead to contamination and never requires treatment with toxic pesticides or fungicides.
Measuring at 48” x 40”, iGPS’ platform enables larger load patterns and is ideally suited for automated environments. And it puts an end to broken boards and protruding nails that can damage equipment, endanger workers, jam production lines and litter workplaces. An independent life cycle analysis has documented that iGPS’ solution is better for the environment than both one-way and multiuse wood pallets. iGPS has been named a “Top Green Provider” by Food Logistics, a “Top Green Supply Chain Partner” by Inbound Logistics, and is also a recipient of the Supply and Demand Chain Executive SDCE 100 Award.
